Product quality and food safety are Carolina Foods’ number one priority.  Carolina Foods has achieved the following certifications:

 

 

Safe Quality Food (SQF) Level 3 Certified

Carolina Foods’ is one of a few select bakeries whose entire production facility is SQF Level 3 certified. The SQF Program is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI).

AIB Superior Rating

Carolina Foods has received the highest rating for 11 consecutive years in all five areas of the AIB International Consolidated Standards for Inspection of Prerequisite and Food Safety Programs. These areas include Operational Methods and Personnel Practices, Maintenance for Food Safety, Cleaning Practices, Integrated Pest Management, and Adequacy of Prerequiste and Food Safety Programs.

Kosher Certified

Carolina Foods is kosher certified by the Orthodox Union, which is the most widely recognized and largest kosher certification agency.

Carolina Foods is a member of Got To Be NC, a marketing program for the NC Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services assisting in the promotion of North Carolina Agriculture and NC products.
